Thank you for your interest in summer membership at the Yale Club of New York City. Summer membership includes use of our facilities, as well as access to our member events. At the Club, we have three restaurants, a Main Lounge and Bar, Library, Fitness & Squash Center, and 138 guestrooms. Our Rooftop Dining Room & Terrace will reopen for dinner service only on June 1. Guest Rooms will not reopen until after your membership has ended on September 7.

In order to apply, you must be a current undergraduate student at Yale, Dartmouth, or UVA or be an undergraduate member of the DKE fraternity. You must also be at least 21 years of age. Before you begin this application, please review the following:

1. 1. Summer membership starts May 31 and lasts through September 6.
2. 2. The cost for summer membership is $100.00 for Club access, and $175 including the athletic package. Please note, these prices are subject to 8.875% sales tax. This fee is not pro-rated.
3. 3. Please have digital copies of your college ID, state ID, and your headshot saved to your computer before beginning the application. Headshots must be taken from the front and have no shadows, glares, or reflections. Acceptable file formats are .jpg, or .jpeg.
4. 4. Once you submit your application, we will process your application and follow up with payment information. It takes approximately one week to activate an account after we receive payment.
5. 5. You will be notified when your welcome packet is ready for pick-up at the Front Desk.

The athletic package is $75 for summer members. This includes use of the cardio machines, weight area, fitness classes, and the pool. Use of the squash courts is an additional fee of $14/45 minutes session, and will be charged on a per-use basis. Please check 'Yes' below in order to receive the gym membership.

Please read this section in its entirety. All members are expected to abide by the rules listed below. Any violation of the Yale Club Bylaws and Summer rules will be subject to the review of the House Committee.

1. 1. Membership Cards All Summer Members must present their Club ID card to the Security Desk each time they enter the Clubhouse.
2. 2. Dress Code The Club requires business casual dress in all public rooms. Denim - neat, clean, and in good repair - is permitted in all areas except the Main Lounge. Shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers are not permitted in any areas except for the Fitness Center. Please note that you can walk directly to and from the Fitness Center in “non-Dress Code” attire but you may not enter any public rooms on your way.
3. 3. Technology (a) Members may use laptops only in the Library throughout the day. Laptop use is also permitted in the Grill Room during the designated Meeting & Business hours. (b) Mobile phones must be set on vibrate or silent upon entering the Clubhouse. You may take calls in the Lobby, stairwells, or phone booths.
4. 4. Athletic Facilities (a) All Summer Members must present their Club ID card to the 6th Floor attendants prior to signing into the facilities, which include the squash courts, pool, sauna/steam room and gym. (b) There are no rental lockers available to summer members. You may use the daily lockers, but no items can be left overnight. Any items left in lockers will be subject to confiscation and can be retrieved in the Lost & Found. (c) All towels and other Club-issued products must be returned to their proper place after use. (d) Sanitizing wipes are available for all machines and cardio pieces. Please wipe your machine after use.
5. 5. Guest Policy Gatherings of more than 10 guests will not be permitted in public areas or in a guest room.
6. 6. Any student found sharing their ID card or member number will be expelled immediately from the Club.

I have read the rules above and promise to adhere to all Yale Club Bylaws and Summer Rules. I understand that my summer membership, as well as future membership at the Club is dependent upon my strict adherence to these policies.

Membership at The Yale Club of New York City is non-refundable and non-transferable. Member Services will contact you for your payment information. Payment of $100.00 is required in order for your application to be processed.
